News Leader 9 Morning WTVM, GA September 4, 2003 Parkinson's Patients "Precept Study" If you or someone you know has Parkinson's disease, they may be eligible to try a test drug. The Precept Study is designed to see whether a new compound called CEP-1347 can slow the advance of Parkinson's. You can participate if you were diagnosed with early signs of the disease in the last five years, and were at least 30 years old when the disease developed. The study is underway in several U.S. cities. The closest city to Columbus seems to be Jacksonville, Florida, but the study's web site indicates other cities could be added in the future. You can also learn more by calling 1-800-57- STUDY. -- Producer Richard Burkard Reference: The Parkinson's Study http://www.pdstudy.com/ SOURCE: News Leader 9 Morning WTVM, GA http://www.wtvm.com/global/story.asp?s=1428586&ClientType=Print * * * ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
