Gerry, We are delighted you have already put it to use. The reason it had errors was because it was scanned by us, and not given to us by the publisher. Scanners are not always accurate so we keep finding additional things to correct. By the way, Joe just sent Senator Hatch another thank you with a photo of him from the Forum holding up the book as he was telling advocates about using the chapter. After the Forum and buying so many books, Joe explained to the Senator that if he continued to buy the books to use for advocacy, Square Peg would be on the best seller list, but we would be broke. The Senator spoke to his publisher and they were kind enough to save us from bankruptcy. Please load the updated and corrected copy at Texas PAN Grassroots http://www.terrybowers.com/tpg/ Hope you are doing well, Nina -----Original Message----- From: Parkinson's Information Exchange Network [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Gerry Haines Sent: Monday, September 08, 2003 7:58 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Senator Orrin Hatch's book: "Square Peg" Nina and Joe were kind enough to give me a copy of Chapter 11 at the Forum in May, hot off the presses. It is a marvelous advocacy tool and I have used it with my representatives. Thank you, Nina and Joe, for realizing the potential of this book and sharing it with me.
