    As far as I can remember, N-acetyl-L-cysteine is the precursor of
glutathione.  Since people do not believe glutathione is broken down before
being absorbed, NAC is recommended.  I take both of them.  I remember
reading somewhere if one takes NAC, it may be a good idea to take lipoic
acid (another potent anti-oxidant) at the same time.
    I do not believe that ALC, L-Taurine and L-glutamate are related to
glutathione.
