Hi Nancy,

I have the same dyskinesia (DK) problem. I take 6 sinemet 100+ others for 20
yrs and I had DBS in 1997. Meds Start time is 7 and I am "on" by 8 am.
Usually I get mild DK after 8 but my real DK kicks in from 3-7 pm. I have
a roller coaster ride every day with stiffness/freezing followed by DK. As
you know DK is side effect of too much drugs and not a PD symptom

Since PD is a resting tremor, I do the following
1-drink lots of milk (protein) as it reduces the levodopa to the brain
2- lie on my back on the floor with the bottom of my right foot against my
left knee. I then tell myself to relax and after 1-2 minutes my DK has
stopped. My neuro cant explain why it works.I think that it is because my
resting tremor is not resting but is now actived

MY neuro took me off COMTAN because it causes DK from 3-7 pm Instead I use
CABASER/cabergoline

Regards
