ADVISORY/Press Conference Scheduled to Discuss Parkinson's Disease Patient Research Findings Prior to American
Neurological Association Annual Meeting.

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct 16, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Results of the "Impact of Parkinson's Disease on the Quality of Life"
patient-based research study will be revealed in a breakfast panel discussion on Monday, October 20, 2003, from 7:00 -
8:00 a.m. Pacific. The discussion is occurring as neurologists gather in San Francisco for the American Neurological
Association's annual meeting, October 19 - 22.

The study was commissioned by Amarin Pharmaceuticals (www.amarinpharma.com), sponsored by WE MOVE (Worldwide Education
and Awareness for Movement Disorders, www.wemove.org) and conducted by the Harris Interactive market research group
(www.harrisinteractive.com). Data from a sample of 228 Parkinson's disease patients were obtained during online survey
fielding August - September 2003. Covered topics include the debilitating effects of "OFF" time, patient's lifestyle
modifications, levels of satisfaction with current treatment options, and desired changes for future Parkinson's
disease medications.
