Hi Scott

I surely understand your problem. I too have trouble settling to sleep and
then staying asleep.

In the early days of my PD, I was taking a Sinamet equivilant about a half
hour before retiring. I have since learned that a side effect of sinamet is
insomnia....I now take my last pill between 8 & 9 PM, i.e. several hours before I
retire. It seems to help.

Regrding the satin sheets, I have never tried them, but a movement disorder
specialist suggested that I try sleeping nude. It offends my upbringing but it
makes rolling over and indeed any movement in bed easier. It is definitely a
means to an end.

Try it and see how it works.

Good Luck
