Greetings from PDF: Two important events are taking place in November in New York City. NINDS Focus Groups - Monday, November 3, 2003 Parkinson's patients and caregivers are invited to take part in a focus group being coordinated by the National Institutes of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) in the New York City area (venue to be confirmed). The purpose of the focus group is to review patient materials that have been designed for a large clinical trial to find treatments that help to slow the worsening of Parkinson's. The Parkinson's Disease Foundation is helping the NINDS by spreading the word among the Parkinson's community. Carnaval at the Copacabana - Wednesday, November 19, 2003 Carnaval comes to the Copacabana to raise funds for Parkinson's research.
