Responsibilities will include teaching, research and/or professional activity, and collegial service. Specialization: preference will be given to candidates with expertise EITHER in drama OR in rhetoric and composition. For the drama specialist, expertise in Shakespeare will be an asset. A rhetoric and composition specialist would contribute to the Department’s writing program and new Certificate in Professional Writing and Rhetoric. Applicants should hold a doctorate in an appropriate field or be near completion of their degree. Evidence of research competency is expected. Teaching experience at the university level would be an asset. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the MSVU Collective Agreement. All positions are subject to final budgetary approval.
