Correction: Stem Cells Story. BALTIMORE, Nov 11, 2003 (AP Online via COMTEX) -- In a Nov. 11 story about ethics issues involving embryonic stem cell research, The Associated Press erroneously reported that National Institutes of Health Director Elias Zerhouni earlier this year called on President Bush to lift his restrictions on which cell lines would be eligible for federal funding. Although other scientists have urged Bush to change his position, Zerhouni has not.
