Ten years ago ... November 8, 1993 ... the Parkinsn Information Exchange Network was born. It became one of the most amazing things in my life. I have met some of the finest people I know even though I have never seen them (other than a few in person or on the 'web cam'). One of the finest is John Cottingham who spends hours of his time and too many of his own dollars maintaining the list and his website PIENO. We don't say it often enough...thank you, John. I got out of hospital today...until my gall bladder flares up again or the dr. schedules surgery. Three days of pd meds and no food do not mix well. Remembering 'Joe's Story', I made it clear that I would look after my own meds. So much information to be thankful for. The most annoying thing about the hospital stay was that Linda Hermann & her husband (and some unknown-to-me others) were coming here to take me & my husband out for lunch on the 8th and it will now have to be rescheduled. I'm looking forward to it. Happy Birthday to us.
