Hi Murray,

When I read your update on your current health I had a very strong feeling that you are going to win this one, for sure. You are a very up beat, positive individual who appears to take one step at a time. This is the only way to do it. When we look at the big picture it scoops us up and creates a vastness that overcomes us.

Our granddaughter was seven years old and was diagnosed in August 2002 with Wilms Tumour on her kidney. They operated, she lost her kidney and the cancer was through the stomach and lungs. They also treated her very aggressively with Chemo and Radiation for a year. August of this year they told the family she was cancer free. In September the cancer was back in her lungs. The treatment is ongoing a week in the hospital and one out. However, this depends on her blood counts requiring ongoing blood transfusions. Her immune system is very low, she also picks up a virus when this occurs. The spots in her lungs are getting smaller and it looks very positive. We too will win this one.

She sounds just like you, a very spirited little girl who never gives up. When I ask her how she is feeling she replies, "I feel great Gram" she goes to school every chance she can and continues with her life.

When Kathrynne told me you had lung cancer, I put you in my prayers and passed your name along to others. Yes, pray is very powerful, we have friends and family all over that have Alix in their pray groups. I am very grateful to have God and pray in my life on my journey.
