Hi Susan, Sorry to see you go ... but not having PD is a pretty darn good reason!! How do you sign off?? Well, the easiest way, I think, is to go to my website.... Parkinson's Resources on the WWWeb http://www.geocities.com/murraycharters/ click on VIP Links click on The PARKINSN List On-line Scroll down to the "Mail Management" buttons... click on the top, centermost button... Remove My Name From PARKINSN Please that's it... and, same thing if you want back in, only choose the Subscribe to PARKINSN now button... And... if you miss us from time to time... you are welcome to use the same VIP Links page to access the online forums... just click on ... The PARKINSN List On-line or... MGH BrainTalk - Parkinson's or... PLWP Message Board etc. etc. 'n scroll through hundreds of messages per month... read those that interest you.... cheers ..... murray On 29 Nov 2003 at 14:32, susan robinson wrote: I have been told by a neurologist that I don't have pd. He also says I don't have motor neurone disease (which was suspected), and blood tests for anti-gliadin antibodies have eliminated gluten-sensitivity as the cause of my neurological symptoms. They're still testing for ms They're also wondering about the importance of stress as a cause (the symptoms link with stress-inducing events, whch continue). Only time will tell - doc says learn to be patient - hard! :) Anyway, as I find the volume of messages hard to cope with, especially if they're not personally relevant, I'd like to sign off from the list. I know I send a "SIGNOFF PARKINSN" command to the listserv address (is it with or without the quote marks?), but how do I sign up again if I want to in the future (i.e. if the neurologist is wrong)? I've forgotten. I've found the List really interesting, and your support has been great. Good luck with your treatment, Murray!
