Memory Computer
December 15th, 2003

A new invention, wearable technology, may boost brainpower and help people that are forgetful.

Using face recognition, their cell phone or PDA, the wearable computer can recognize people. The matching name is
flashed on a tiny screen attached to the wearer's glasses for a brief instant.

The computer will also flash grocery lists and ingredients.

Originally designed for Parkinson's patients, inventor Rich Duval of MIT realized it could work for anyone. In a study,
memory was improved by one and a half times, with the learning effect of using flash cards.
