Hello:

I am from Iceland and I was given fishoil since I was few months old and still I take one full spoon  every day during the wintermonths.  The same goes for most of the islanders.  The most common fishoil is coming from the codfish and before itīs sold on the market it goes through a very sophisticating process to remove all possible contamine elements. The reason Sears Labs fish oil is so expensive ($70.00 a btl) is because itgoes through a very sophisticated filtering process to remove all the metallicand contaminating elements so that it is not harmful to take larger doses, soI'm told in his book.
