Prior to contacting an attorney everyone should understand the limits on the
fees they may charge.  Here is a link to the most current information.
Attorneys may claim 25% of the back benefits due but there is a limit that
must not be exceeded.  It is 25% or the current limit of $5,300 whichever is
less.  It is not 25% on any back benefits.

Check it out to make sure the limits were not exceeded.
