Only I am still an "official" Democrat, even though I have, on occasion, voted Republican, including in the last presidential election. Also, I am not sure about gay and lesbian *marriages*. I still think that *marriage* is a heterosexual institution, but support having a similar state (although with a different name) that provides similar status to committed gay couples.
