HOUSTON: Parkinson's Disease Focus Of Free Seminar The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center will present a special Parkinson's disease seminar titled "Surgical Procedures for the Treatment of Parkinson's Disease" 10 to 11:30 a.m., Feb. 13. The free program is open to veterans, family members and friends. The guest speaker will be Dr. Richard K. Simpson, associate clinical director of the Houston Parkinson's Disease Research, Education and Clinical Center. Simpson also is chief of neurosurgery at the DeBakey VA Medical Center and associate professor of neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
