Yes, Sharon, I watched "Scrubs." And I cannot believe you never watched "Spin City!" (Just kidding, but it was a great show!) The role as an obsessive-compulsive doctor seemed to fit him well. Michael has definitely not lost his acting ability. As far as something being "awkward," I think it's because we know all the little idiosyncrasies to watch for in someone with Parkinson's. Michael J. has the "wide-eyed" look and his expressions are far more graphic than usual, plus his movements aren't fluid, but somewhat jerky and hyperflexed. But then, he has Parkinson's. To the inexperienced eye, he looks pretty "normal." And as I said, his acting ability has definitely not been altered (but I'm sure he has to work a little harder than before PD).
