We don't believe in torturing our children to make them better people. In fact, the state is supposed to intervene if abuse is present. As a teacher, I was supposed to report it and intervene. We keep hearing that those who are abused become abusers.....think, Peggy, think of everybody and everything. I do believe that a belief in why God does this or that is a good thing, there are just some things I cannot comprehend....like the murder of children.
