A Tens unit give electrical impulses to the sore area and are adjusted to amount of relief needed and worn easily under clothes too. It works for the "right" kind of pain. Also out are LIDOCAINE Patches to put on the area just like a bandage. They stay on really well too. Again effectiveness depends on severity of pain. Shots given by the doc directly into the area can help too immensely. Sometimes it takes a combination of pills and other to reach relief and sometimes I swear there are days nothing really helps.
