Hi Laura,

It's nice to see your post and read read your sentiments.  PD is nasty
business but sharing the burden with others in the same boat takes off a bit
of the load.

Adversity can bring out the very best in people.  You find out who your true
friends are and you meet new ones who would have remained total strangers
otherwise.  It's not easy to ask people for money, even for a worthy cause.
But the funny thing is when you look to them for dollars you get back much
more in the form of love.

I hope your mom will make it to the Walk.  Besides being a fundraiser and a
community building event it's also a real family day.  She'll love it.
