Frank, we are taking a course offered by the local Alzheimer Society on dementia, and the subject came up as to how one might measure the extent of dementia - especially for oneself. The "answer" was to do a baseline test and compare the results that we get over time. The "answer" produces two more questions: Where do we find a suitable baseline test? And how do we compensate for the large "on/off" swings in our capabilities caused by our Parkinson's? Let me also add that we are aware that your views in some areas are opposed to the views of many on the list. This makes you very valuable to the list, because you can give more perspective to everybody's thoughts than could a person who only rubber-stamps the views of others. We are also aware that you are quite knowledgeable regarding Parkinson's. With that knowledge you have made a substantial contribution to the list. We hope that the contribution will continue.
