SHREVEPORT: Parkinson's Run To Be Held Saturday Posted on March 3, 2004 The second Parkinson's Spring Forward 5K Walk/Run will be Saturday at C. Bickham Dickson Park in Shreveport. The half-mile walk/run begins at 8 a.m. with the 5K at 8:30 a.m. Organizations and individuals are invited to be sponsors for participants. Contributions will support Parkinson's-related basic science research at LSU Health Sciences Center. To date the contributions have provided pilot grants to two researchers here. Applications for the event are available at Sportspectrum or by calling 675-4613.
