You are so very right about this needing to be a place for help, hope, and
guidance on dealing with this terrible disease.  We need to keep our place
in this world in perspective, and your comments did just that.

Murray Charters, as you mentioned, is such a caring person.  That's why he
is being awarded the Alan Bonander Humanitarian Award at this year's Unity
Walk in New York's Central Park.  (see link

In defense of the political, religious comments made here, however; it's a
part of us no matter how much we turn our heads or try to not "discuss" it.
And yes, here is probably not the best place to air out our feelings.  And
like it or not, our help, our hope, and yes, even our guidance in dealing
with this terrible disease will be greatly affected by our political arena
and for certain our religious beliefs.  But thank  you for the moving
reminder that advice on how to make it through each day would probably more
beneficial on this listserve.
