However, there does appear (at this time) to be evidence that President Bush had more information than he let on. And I know that we'll never agree about what's the right thing to do because I don't think it should be our right or place (or any other country's) to police the world. Now in the example you give, asking if I had a gun and there was a person in front of me shooting people, would I kill the person. Probably. I was in the Army. I can use guns and hand grenades, etc. But I assume that in your example, I am somewhere close to home and not in a foreign country. There are all kinds of injustices in this country; of course, none are as bad as the killing of of the Kurds, as far as I know. But nobody's rushing over here to help me, to help you. And we do have to get back to the topic, but I want to say that it doesn't matter to me whether the President is Dem or Rep or Independent or black or white or anything in-between. I just want someone there who will do a good job, whose focus is service to this country and its needs. We need help and hope, it's true. Who better to begin to give it to us than our government?
