Bravo, Dave. Someone finally gets the point. We can escalate this forever and I don't mind participating in the escalation. I am more concerned with this list not becoming a political action board. That is not it's purpose. But if those who wish to post their personal political agendas and disguise them as "doing the only right thing for Parkinson's" and then claim the first amendment. It's ok with me. I'll reply to all of them. Isn't that what they are saying? They have a right... I do also. I don't agree with Bush on everything but inflammatory comments will cause this board to become clogged. The best move it to take political actions somewhere else or just post a link to some political action site. Taking the license to say "Bush has declared war on the majority of American citizens!" is just wrong and a bold face lie. Please notice I did not say the poster of this message was a liar. I said the statement was a lie. I hope that people will get the point and get back to the spirit of this board. It is not Campaign 2004 Head Quarters. If the people here think it's a good idea to do that we can always go there. The point is people on this board crossed the line with these wild accusations and this is the result of their actions not mine. Regardless of personal feelings, however, using this forum to portray the President as a villain does nothing to help our cause. It only polarizes the list members. There is a difference between expressing concern and criticism regarding policies and actions, and undertaking personal attacks. The latter is counterproductive. > > Dave Bergford > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] > In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
