Thank you Carrie, you get the point also.

It doesn't matter who is in office we need to support the issues.  We need
to support not blame others.  Bills pass when there is popular support not
because one person does not want them.  It is right and on target to alert
people that a bill is up for vote and to encourage them to call or write
their representatives in support of something.

Bills fail when representatives and people are alienated.

War is not a real topic of discussion for this board but the same people who
make statements like "Bush has declared war on the majority of Americans"
seem to believe it's ok to bring it up.  I don't think we need to discuss
war here.  We need to discuss this terrible disease and support all who are
affected by it.

Help and Hope is not really the primary role of the Government.  We as
humans, neighbors, family and friend must provide that.  At times we can use
the government as a vehicle to deliver help and hope to those in need.
