I am still under the impression that we live in a democracy and I have a
right to express my opinion as well. This is not a partisan issue. I am
62. I have voted as a Republican until recently and I believe in the
sanctity of life. But I defend my "subject title" as I see it. The actions
in question have had nothing to do with legislation, they were instituted by
executive order.
I feel it is the millions of people suffering from potentially curable
diseases and conditions all over the world, not just Parkinson's, who are
being attacked by a vocal minority, as demonstrated by the space you have
taken up on this subject. There is nothing that hasn't already been said
that you, I or anyone else on this list can add to the topic. My suggestion
is that we agree that we disagree and leave it at that.

Thank you Dave for your encouraging and thoughtful words. Let's stop the
attacks. It's counter productive. Expressing concern is one thing.
Accusing the President of declaring war on Americans clearly crosses the
   line.

   Regards

Regardless
of personal feelings, however, using this forum to portray the President
as
a villain does nothing to help our cause. It only polarizes the list
members. There is a difference between expressing concern and criticism
regarding policies and actions, and undertaking personal attacks. The
   latter is counterproductive.
