Strange how this disease works . First one symptom and then another until it become clearer as to what has been plaguing us for years. I too was similarly diagnosed and put on pills to correct what they called Graves disease. Maybe the thyroid is one of the first targets of this disease. Those early warning signs would be nicer if the message were a little clearer.
