Cheers, another person gets the point. We all have a common cause.

It is very difficult to avoid interjecting disrespect and alienating people
in any charged political situation. When you do that you loose the common
cause. The only way to avoid that is to avoid political discussions in
those times.

I have recently had a few respectful discussions trying to find information
to help me make up my mind regarding issues surrounding stem cell research.
Those discussions that have been most informative never mentioned any
political positions at all. Most never mentioned what their positions were.
They merely presented some fact on topic and did not try to twist the
discussion and alienate me by interject their political agenda. By the way
stating some candidates position on a topic on and on and slamming the
opposition does not fall into the category of "stating facts." It is
presenting political opinion not facts. Testing the "Freedom of Speech"
issue on this board does not help us support each other in our individual
quests for answers.

Regards

Frank
