My opinions: The med center should treat the whole persons and integrate other alternative treatments as well as the usual western meds and surgery. They should study the effects of these treatments on each other. They should have a help line and a website with answers to frequently asked questions about PD. That's jut off the top of my head. Gooooooood morning, pd land!!!!! we need your help. holly. paula and i find ourselves in a unique situation. we have been asked by the ceo of a major downstate medical center to meet with the staff and management of a newly opened pd and movement disorder clinic to offer our input as to what we would like this clinic to offer in the way of healthcare and services. we are all so excited about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be heard that we don't want to leave out anything that would be necessary or envisioned on a wish list of things that pwp's need and want in a center of excellence. please post all of your replies to this message so that we can go in there with an armload of suggestions. many thanks to you for your help. -- Joan E.
