Hi Lisa, First off, correct me if I'm mistaken, but your core.com e-mail leads me to think you must be in the one of the Great Lakes states... If so, you may be close to the Movement Disorder Center in Chicago... A Movement Disorder Center that specializes in Parkinson's is pretty much the only way to go, in my opinion, when you have been diagnosed with a long term illness at a relatively young age. I'm located in BC in Canada and am blessed to have the Pacific Parkinson's Research Center at UBC practically in my back yard... Why a Movement Disorder Center specializing in Parkinson's? Well, they are almost certain to see the most Early Onset patients, you benefit from their Team approach, they will almost certainly be on the leading edge with the newest treatments and Parkinson's Management Algorithm... I went to UBC for a second opinion when I was diagnosed many years ago and I have the utmost trust in them... I've enrolled in clinical trials through UBC and enjoyed the experience.
