I guess they got established when the rerligious climate was not so powerful. Also, whose life am I taking if SCNT (Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer) or therapeutic cloning which uses an unfertilzed egg (no sperm, an immaculate conception) and my own DNA from somatic cells is developed to cure my Parkinson's Disease? Research about how cells, not babies, has to be done to begin to make advances for cures. I am an ovarian cancer sruvivor who has had Parkinson's Disease for 8 years and it is much worse than cancer, a battle you either win or lose; Parkinson's you lose....slowly. If Bartle has no compassion for an old bag (68) like me, what about children who suffer? I think it is terrible our fates are decided by the same religious types who opposed Copernicus and Galileo.
