Chris, I smoked for 32 yrs, quit at age 50, it's been 18 yrs now and I heard somewhere that smoking protected againat PD, but my grandfather had PD and never smoked. I was diagnosed at age 60; chemotherapy might have been a contributing factor, I don't know.
