Dear All,
In the early days of diagnosis I had acupuncture twice a week for six months and around a year later Qi Gung massage once a week. With both therapies I found them uncomfortable and wished I was doing something I like instead of pleasing my husband who thought if I "fought" P.D.it wouldn't get in the way of our otherwise blissful lives.

At that time I was unmedicated and like most unmedicated PWP classified as having mild P.D.

Looking back I left myself wide open for these people to make me "better".

Despite the progression of P.D. I stop and smell the roses, enjoy the company of friends and especially family more and think that these things came to me through P.D. and accepting it.

For those of you who have found relief from P.D. with such therapies my apologies.
                                                                                      Lee
P.S. My apologies for writing more than perhaps I should have.
