I have once again scheduled myself for dbs surgery. Last year I got so nervous about it that I cancelled the surger y. After a year of trying to "manage" my medication better (without success) I have decided my dyskinesias and stiffness have progressed to a much more adanced level. I just hope that i am making the right decision some of you who have had dbs----------how much help do you need for the first few days following surgery?
