Forwarded From PAN: PAN has endorsed stem cell legislation sponsored by Reps. Michael Castle (R-DE) and Diana DeGette (D-CO). H.R. 4682, the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act, is designed to expand the current policy on stem cell research by allowing for federal funding for stem cell research, if the lines were derived from excess human embryos that have been donated from in vitro fertilization clinics, with consent from the donors.
