That's what we were told also.  The ideal candidate for DBS is someone whose
response to Sinement has been good but for whom the effect of that
medication has started to fluctuate or are now seeing marked side effects.
We have been told that the best a person can expect with DBS is the best
they manifest when Sinement is working for them.  Not everyone is a good
candidate.  We have heard this from several medical sources.
