Not really Tess, I just thought my opinions were worthy respect as much as
others.
I now fully understand the position and mission of this board. I support you
in all your ventures to get your candidates elected. You are within your
rights to do so and to take all measures you feel will further your support and
the chance for your supported candidates election.
Since I just received a notice from the owners that clearly indicated this
was an activist site for PD and opinions that supported political candidates
that were not in line with those that are determined to "provide a full loaf" are
not welcome. I did not know that was the mission of the site. I thought it
was primarily for the exchange of PD information.
Had I known this was the case I would not have posted support for other
points of view or even asked for fair treatment. You are right. It is a bit like
a Christian walking into a Temple and preaching Christian themes or like a Jew
attempting to collect for the Jewish Anti Defamation League outside a Mosque.
It's just wrong and you should expect to be attacked.
I apologize not for my beliefs but for posting them here.
By the way my name is Theresa Rehtom. I'm 51 years old. I have PD. I'm on
SSD. I live in Pennsylvania. I love my husband and grandchildren. I want a
cure as much as all of you. It is just that for some reason my conscious
bothers me on certain issues.
