I just listened to this and one caller gave the "you're going to die anyway of something" argument. Apparently unless you are not personally affected many don't understand that it is a quality of life issue. You don't just drop dead of PD suddenly. I know when my grandfather had PD he was in his 70's and I thought well, he's just old and he was a mean guy anyway. Boy am I sorry for my ignorant houghts.
