Then you don't understand the intent of my post, and I am sorry that I am not better able to communicate my meaning. I am NOT comparing the two victims of the "research", I am simply making the point that scientists are just people, and their reasoning can be as flawed as anyone else's. I thought I made that clear in my post, and in fact, I was trying to address that same misunderstanding that Ray had of Bob's post. Ray herself clarified that when in her next post she referred to the fact that scientists correct themselves all of the time - proof that they can in fact be wrong. My intent is always to try to get people to understand why someone with the opposite point of view feels the way they do and to promote respectful discussion of the topic in order to help bridge differences, not to cause more misunderstandings.
