For what it's worth, there's no requirement at St. Thomas at
all.

And also for what it's worth, if nobody else starts it I'll try
to assemble the postings on this issue so far into a coherent
digest (I've done it before, and have a sort of algorithm for
editing that kind of thing).  Maybe next week.
