UK: Fundraising Fun For Two Charities

10:59am today Oct 7, 2004

A Lambeth restaurant will be enticing people to collect cash for charities with an
event promising feasting and fundraising.

Chilli Chutney's Charity Jazz Night, for new Mayor of Lambeth Councillor Irene
Kimm, is in aid of the Crossroads respite care charity and King's College Hospital's
Parkinson's disease research unit.

The Mayor combines working at King's College Hospital and caring for her disabled
parents with her responsibilities.

Crossroads, which supports carers, will be her main charity for the mayoral year.

The event will be held on Thursday, October 14. To book call 020 8696 0123, or
just drop into the restaurant in Streatham High Road.
