Internet Intruix Inc Media The Village News Online Stem cell research needed ------------------------------------------------ Rayilyn L. Brown October 15, 2004 3:14pm Ray Haynes is an ignorant, uncompassionate Neanderthal when it comes to embryonic stem cell research. Notice, he does not oppose in-vitro fertilization clinics, which facilitate production of extra pre-embryo cells (microscopic undifferentiated cells). Nobel Laureates call for research on all stem cells (these "throwaways" included) to learn the etiology of diseases. It is not known what will work for which disease until the research is done on these cells, not people. Research is expensive, but so is disease. Vote yes on Prop 71 and send Haynes back to his cave.
