WEMOVE News:

This Wednesday. . . It's Time for Another Chat, So Mark Your Calendar. .
."Off-Time" Management in Parkinson's Disease
Second in the series of live events: A WE MOVE "Ask the Expert" On-Line
Fully Moderated Event for Patients and Caregivers

The response to our last chat on the "off-time" management of Parkinson's
disease (PD) was overwhelming, so WE MOVE is offering another opportunity
to chat with the expert. This event will be fully moderated, which means
that only the questions from the audience and the answers from the expert
will be visible in the chat window. If you were unable to participate in
last month's chat, please join us on October 27, 2004, at 7:00 PM EDT.
Participants are invited to discuss their experiences with "off time" and
ask questions of the expert, Mark Stacy, MD. Dr. Stacy is Medical
Director of the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorder Center at Duke
University Medical Center. Topics to be covered include: what "off-time"
is exactly; how people living with PD identify "wearing off" and describe
it to their doctors; and what treatment options are available for
"off-time" management.
