Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. The symposium will feature guest speakers and displays of special equipment for Parkinson's patients, said Kay Stucker, leader of Parkinson's Fellowship, a local support group. Half of the event will be geared to patients, families and caregivers, and the other half will be aimed at medical professionals. The event is being sponsored by the American Parkinson's Disease Association and Creighton Medical Center. Information will include an announcement about a new referral office opening at the medical center. Parkinson's Fellowship will not meet in October or November.
