Dear CASLL colleagues: You just saw an ad for a one-year maternity-leave position at U of T, Scarborough, and the ad below is for another position in the same writing centre. It overlaps in time and is congruent with the mat-leave position. This one is a career position -- in other words, the successful candidate will be helped to prepare for the fifth-year review for promotion to Senior Lecturer, which is a continuing appointment equivalent to tenure. The ad outlines an exciting range of functions for this job, and the UTSC website shows what a dynamic place the Writing Centre there is: see http://tls.utsc.utoronto.ca/TWC/index.htm. Note that Teresa Dawson invites inquiries about both these positions. She's available at [log in to unmask] and (416) 287-7680.
