Dear CASLL members:

Please note that although the ad below describes a one-year Lecturer
position to replace Sarah King during her upcoming maternity leave,
there is a strong possibility that a permanent Lecturer position will
soon be advertised with a start date of July 1, 2005. Lecturers at U of
T can obtain continuing status (equivalent to tenure) after a review in
their fifth year.

If you're interested in either or both positions, Teresa Dawson would be
glad to answer your questions: she's at [log in to unmask], (416)
287-7680.

The website for the UTSC Writing Centre is at
http://tls.utsc.utoronto.ca/TWC/index.htm. It will give you a sense of
what a dynamic operation this is, and how it relates to a set of other
interesting teaching units.

Regards,

Margaret Procter
