October 01, 2004, 4:15 PM ET

For its fifth installment, the New Jersey-based Light of Day
Foundation's annual concert benefit
has expanded to three nights of music. Already on board for the Nov.
5-7 concerts at the
legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park are Joe Grushecky & the
Houserockers, Jesse Malin, Marshall
Crenshaw, Soozie Tyrell, Jeffrey Gaines, Willie Nile, Bruce Tunkel,
Boccigalupe & the Bad Boys
and JoBonanno & the Godsons of Soul.

Proceeds from the concerts will benefit the Parkinson's Disease
Foundation and the Muscular
Dystrophy Association's ALS research programs. Tickets for all three
shows go on sale tomorrow

Artist manager and former Billboard staffer Bob Benjamin, who was
diagnosed with Parkinson's
disease in 1996, organizes the yearly event. In each of the past four
years, Bruce Springsteen
has performed with Grushecky, who is managed by Benjamin.

In addition to the growing concert program, the 2004 Light of Day
event will run simultaneously
with auctions hosted by Lelands and eBay. Among the items up for
grabs will be several stemming
from E Street Band members, including a signed saxophone used by
Clarence Clemons on
Springsteen's 1999-2000 tour and an acoustic/electric guitar signed
by Nils Lofgren. A drum head
signed and used by Max Weinberg will be auctioned with a program from
the 2003 Rising summer tour
program signed by Springsteen.
