For all of those using progressive lenses and bifocals...

If you have progressed in the disease to the point that your posture has
been impacted, your head may be more bent than it use to be.  This can cause
you to use the wrong part of the lenses to look through especially if the
lenses you use are the small ones so popular today.

I would consider using two pair of single focus glasses, one for reading and
one for walking.  I would also talk to your optometrist and discuss the
problem.  It may be that larger lenses or setting the dividing line may
help.
